Each fforest wedding is unique but some common themes run through them:
Wedding services
As our weddings are residential, most are organised from a distance with wedding couples travelling from all over the UK to tie the knot with us. To help minimise the stress we co-ordinate services with our local providers, minimising the headache of research for you and ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the day.
Catering
fforest provides all of the catering in-house and will discuss with you what format this is to take throughout the weekend.
Bar
fforest is fully licensed and we will therefore provide all of the alcohol you require from relaxed beers on arrival, to toasts and cocktails on the wedding day and a cheeky Bloody Mary with your brunch. If you would prefer to bring your own wine and champagne we are happy to talk to you about corkage.
Flowers and venue dressing
fforest is set in 200 acres of woodland, so foliage is not an issue here. Alice, our wonderful gardener, has a wild flower meadow and sets aside a section for cutting flowers in her vegetable garden each season, perfect for dressing your venue. Fresh seasonal flowers from the grounds are always on display. We also dress the barn and bwthyn with bunting and light the hat tipi and bwthyn with tealight chandeliers.
For the wedding tea party the barn tables are laid with vintage linen and crockery.
Beauty and Therapies
If you would like some professional assistance with your make-up and/or nails on your wedding day we are happy to recommend a local make-up artist to visit you at your accommodation. In fact we are more than happy to recommend, to the point of gushing slightly. If you need a little stress-buster we can also organise for a back and shoulder or hot stone massage to calm your nerves. Pampering isn’t reserved for brides. We will organise facials, manicures and massages for grooms too.
