Our smaller, coastal camp.  Ideal if you want to be a short walk to the beach & be completely self-sufficient.

With stunning coastline and the magnificent Penbryn beach close by, at Manorafon we offer log cabins as well as geodesic domes and grouptents, combined with our wide range of outdoor activities.  We also have our  beautifully restored Georgian farmhouse, Ty Manorafon, which sleeps 8 guests.

Manorafon camp is a self-catering stay, with no breakfasts.

Camp resources

Manorafon camp is a converted dairy farm, with some of the rustic buildings still in place, with different uses. The stable used to house horses, but is now the communal relaxing area. The cedar barrel sauna and firepit were forest additions, and sit nicely with the rural environment, with the National trust beach, Penbryn, only a 10 minute walk away. Manorafon site is located in a rural area and doesn't have phone signal or internet.

Places to stay

Ty Manorafon is situated at the entrance to the camp, with it's own private garden. We have 5 cabins dotted around the camp, which range from 2 to 3 bedroom. Tucked amongst the trees and long grass are our three geodesic domes, sleeping 2-4 people. Two grouptents and their wooden base sit on the rounded flat lawn, a stones throw from the converted stable.

The local area

The Penbryn area is rural, friendly and cosy. Included is the National trust beach, Penbryn, along with the cafe, which serves locally sourced snacks and alcohol. St Michaels Church has stunning views over Cardigan bay and the sea, and despite being hundreds of years old, is still fully functioning and is a popular wedding venue. The coast path is on the cafe's doorstep and leads to Llangrannog in one direction, and Tresaith the other, both approximately 2 miles away.
