'We have had a wonderful time. I've never done so many exciting, dangerous things in one holiday! The kids especially loved the activities, we would never have thought of booking canoeing and coasteering and surfing if it hadn’t been suggested.’
in the sea
The protected, undeveloped coastlines of Pembrokeshire and Cardigan Bay provide more than enough choice for an ocean adventure. The many beaches, cliffs, coves and reefs provide multiple venues for coasteering, sea kayaking, surfing and wildlife boat trips. Our coastal activities show you the best natural locations which are selected to provide a safe environment for you to learn new skills with qualified instructors.
Coasteering
Coasteering was born here in West Wales, inspired by the rugged coastline of West Pembrokeshire. Coasteering is a journey along the tidal margin which combines a mix of swimming, scrambling and jumping. No two coasteers are ever the same—wind, waves and tide are constantly changing the sea state so you’re always guaranteed a unique journey.
Sea Kayaking
We're blessed with some of the most impressive coastline in the west. High cliffs, islands, caves and of course the resident dolphin pod makes our sea kayaking one of our firm favourite activities. Sea kayaking is available throughout the year, minimum age 8.
Surfing
West Wales has some of the most consistent beach breaks in the country, so join us for an introduction to wave riding. We'll take you through the basics on dry land first and your instructor will be on hand throughout to provide tips and encouragement to get you riding waves confidently.
Wildlife Boat Trips
Cardigan bay is home to a large population of Atlantic grey seals, birds including chough, peregrine, fulmars, gannets, razorbills and one of Britain's two resident dolphin pods. 1-1.5 hour speed boat trips into the bay.
