At fforest we cater for many events. We are looking for sensitive people to help us take care of our spaces, work with us as part of the team, doing the best they can to get the job done. We are looking for all levels of experience and ages and offer part time, full time, evening and weekend work.
fforest farm is set over 200 acres, walking is part of the job, being outdoors is what we love the most come rain or shine.

JOB DESCRIPTION: DUTY MANAGER

AVERAGE WEEKLY HOURS: 20-30 hrs

LOCATION: CILGERRAN

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: 

To confidently supervise the day to day operations of the Front of House team. To deliver exceptional customer services at all times. To adhere to all current licensing and health and safety policies. To act as the first port of call for customer enquiries.

Liaise with the Farm Manager, Events Manager, Wedding & Events Co-coordinator  & Maintenance Manager on daily operations and upcoming events.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

DUTIES

  • To open or close the buildings in use in accordance with the set procedure, as required. 

  • To carry out a fire safety check of the site at the start of each shift and immediately action any areas of concern. 

  • Working with the Farm manager to ensure the building complies with all health and safety and licensing policies. 

  • Working with the Housekeeping Manager and Events Manager to ensure the buildings are clean and correct.

  • To take a lead role in the managing of incidents and emergencies whilst on duty. 

  • To ensure the public areas and toilets are presentable and welcoming at all times. 

  • To accurately record front of house staff attendance and report any absences to the Farm Manager using the correct procedure. 

  • To confidently supervise all Front of House staff on a day to day basis, including managing breaks and motivating staff.

  • Oversee the daily operation of events that the venue holds, e.g weddings, corporate events, retreats, holiday breaks.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Bar Manager

AVERAGE WEEKLY HOURS: 28hrs

HOURLY PAY: To be discussed

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

As Bar Manager at the Pizzatipi, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the bar,

ensuring all guests have an enjoyable time and a fantastic experience.

The Bar Manager is responsible for training, supervising and managing the bar team. This

includes reviewing stock, maintaining high standards and ensuring cleanliness. You will also

order stock weekly to ensure you are ready for upcoming bookings or events.

When the bar is busy it's essential we are prepared and responsive. When it's quiet we need to

focus on the perfect atmosphere and experience for the guests.

We are looking for someone who can make sure we are being as profitable as possible, thinking

about how we can improve our offering, operate efficiently and use data to make informed

decisions. You will need to have an interest in wine and spirits, as well as beer and cocktails.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

● Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests.

● Responsible for the daily operations of the onsite bars and ensuring the delivery of

outstanding customer service.

● Train and supervise bar staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products, policies,

and procedures. Monitor and maintain the quality of beverages served.

● Stock management - regular stock-takes, ordering & rotation

● Handle deliveries and have good relationships with suppliers

● Assist in the set up and preparation for all events at fforest farm. Have access to

schedules, to plan operations and order relevant stock for specific events

● Check and respond to emails relating to the bar.

● Dealing with customer feedback and providing adequate solutions to customer complaints

● Report any maintenance issues on connecteam or speak with the manager

General

Health & Safety

Take responsibility for your own Health and Safety and that of other employees and customers.

This includes regularly reviewing the Health and Safety declaration, risk assessments and maintaining the Accident Record log.
