After graduating, Suzi worked as a knitwear designer in the Midlands for ten years, following which, she relocated to West Wales and set up a digital embroidery business supplying embroidery to the wedding dress market. She has since transferred her digital embroidery skills to be able to teach various techniques on a domestic sewing machine and is affectionately known by her students as Suzi Stitch. Having taught in higher education for over ten years, Suzi is passionate about offering specialised courses and has teamed up with expert designer-makers to create Make it in Wales, a culmination of many years of working and teaching in the fashion and textile sector in the UK. Suzi will be sharing her expert knowledge, ensuring you get the most from this experience and popping on the kettle.
Textile designer, co-founder of fforest and prolific Instagrammer @coldatnight, Sian will be heading up the team of fforest elves preparing the farmhouse for your arrival and ensuring the perfect stay. She’ll find it hard to stay away, so as well as joining you on your walk and holding the fort in the kitchen, expect her to be dipping into your design and sewing sessions, casting her creative eye over the proceedings.
