Inspired by the Swedish concept of Syjunta - coming together to chat and share craft skills and knowledge, supporting and inspiring each other in a relaxing environment with comforting food.

March and the arrival of spring with new shoots and new growth is the perfect time for nourishment of mind, soul and body. A time to reconnect with nature. A time for women to get together, to learn and share new skills, walking in the woods and along the stunning Welsh coastline, sharing ideas and stories. This is a weekend of unwinding, slowing down the pace and giving time to yourself.

Come alone or with a friend to enjoy the company and comfort of being a part of this small and intimate gathering. A maximum of 20 people in the peaceful surroundings of fforest with tasty and nourishing food.

Over the weekend we will enjoy the mornings for exploring with the wonderful women of the woodlands. A walk with local forager Jade on Friday, then wake up and unwind with yoga on Saturday morning followed by woodland creations with Tamsin.

In the afternoons we can share, make and create. If you have a talent, be it story telling, creative writing, willow weaving, crochet, kimchi making, aromatherapy, cake baking, puppet making, photography, tree climbing or knitting, it would be great if you would like to take a moment over the weekend to share your knowledge. We have plenty of comfortable spaces for creativity and will encourage everyone to bring their own creative project and share some crafting skills over the weekend. Amanda Banham will help us build our own ceramic house or pinch pot on Friday afternoon if you would like to join her. Or just use our spaces to simply relax into a comfy chair, listen to the birds and read a book. There is no fixed schedule or end product. The goal is to inspire, support and help each other and maybe learn something new.

Accommodation is in comfortable shared rooms in either Ty Fforest or our crog lofts or in a private double with en-suite in Ty Fforest.
