Fishing boat 'King' netting salmon in the estuary around 1890. There is a mural of this image painted by our friend Lee Williams in our tiny pub 'Tafarn Smwglin' (smugglers pub) on the river in the centre of Cardigan. last summer a visitor having a beer commented how much he liked the mural. He asked me if I knew the name of the boat. I did and so did he. He was the grandson of the owner, pictured standing in the boat.
