Inspired by the Swedish concept of women getting together to chat, support and inspire each other.
March brings the arrival of spring sprouting new shoots and new growth, it is the perfect time to reconnect with nature for nourishment of mind, soul and body. We have set aside a nurturing weekend for women to get together, to learn and share skills, ideas and stories. This is a weekend of unwinding, slowing down the pace and giving time to yourself.
Each morning and afternoon we will be sharing something new to be inspried by nature.
Welcoming in Spring with her renewal and seasonal changes we will take a walk down to the pinewoods with Gemma from The Quiet Heart for some mindful woodland meditation and forest bathing to deeply breath it all in. Gemma will aslo be sharing some ways and tips to help us transition smoothly through the seasons changes.
In the afternoon florist Alice Calcasola will get us arranging all the newly emerging spring blooms, she has a wondeful energy and a really fun way of putting things together. Ceramic artist Amanda Banham will be telling us some of her stories and will help us create something with clay. Later on we will learn about fermentation and why raw milk cheeses, sauerkraut, pickles or kimchi are very important and necessary and good for our health. Plus there will be a bracing walk along the breathtalking coastline to totally blow away the cobwebs on Sunday morning to make sure you leave with a very healthy Glow.
Come alone or with a friend to enjoy the company and comfort of being a part of this small and intimate gathering. A maximum of 20 people in the peaceful surroundings of fforest.
There are comfortable spaces for creativity or to simply relax into a comfy chair, listen to the birds and read a book. There is no fixed schedule or end product. The goal is to inspire and help each other and maybe learn something new.
Accommodation is in comfortable rooms in either Ty Fforest, our crog lofts, or new Garden Rooms.
