Dining at fforest

A year of dining at fforest.
Simple suppers, seasonal feasts and guest chefs cooking over fire in the Cedar Barn.

Upcoming

rare and special dining at fforest

2025 was the first year of our guest chef series; and what a year it was. We're hugely grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a success. We're already shaping an exciting 2026 calendar, with a few familiar faces returning and some brilliant new chefs in the pipeline.

Each event is a chance to enjoy something truly special, and with limited dates and spaces, they're likely to sell out fast. Open to resident guests and the general public.

See what's planned below, and sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear about new announcements.

p.s. we’ll still also have our family supper nights during school holidays exclusively for our fforest guests!

fforest winter feast
27th-29th november 2026

Join us for a spectacular 6 course fforest feast, surrounded by the glow of fires and twinkling lights.

If you’re staying for the weekend, we’ll look after you from the moment you arrive on Friday, with woodland walks, fires, good food and plenty of time to settle in.

On Saturday we’ll start the evening in our cosy Bwthyn pub, before following the festoon-lit woodland path to the Cedar Barn. Gather around long tables with old friends and new and enjoy the very best of local seasonal produce smoked, cured and roasted over open flames. Sharing plates of fish, meat, cheese and winter vegetables, created in collaboration with our brilliant local producers and suppliers.

Come for the feast or make a weekend of it. A winter gathering filled with good food, conversation, fires and a warm fforest welcome.

Mountain & brat
18th-20th September 2026

A weekend of eating and drinking, indulging and relaxing hosted by fforest with special guest Tomos Parry and his Brat & Mountain team. Join us as they leave London for the weekend for two exclusive services on the farm.

Born in Anglesey, Tomos Parry’s Welsh heritage deeply informs his approach to food. Growing up exploring the mountains of North Wales and working in seafood restaurants along the coast, his connection to the land and sea runs deep.

Parry honed his craft in local restaurants in Wales before moving to London and refining his passion for hyper-local, seasonal cooking over fire.

For dinner-only bookings, the Mountain dinner will be served on Friday 18th September. For guests staying at fforest farm for the weekend, dinner will be on Saturday evening.

Bryn Williams
2nd-4th october 2026

We're very pleased to welcome Bryn Williams back to fforest farm this autumn.

Bryn grew up in Denbigh and has spent his career cooking with a deep respect for Welsh land and produce. From his early years in some of the UK's finest kitchens, including Le Gavroche.

He now has his own restaurants, most notably at Porth Eirias on the North Wales coast, awarded the prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand.

Come for the full weekend and settle in properly. Good food, good company and time to slow down in our special corner of West Wales.

Or if you can't make the whole weekend, there are a handful of tickets available for the Saturday dinner alone.

Jonathan Woolway
16th-18th October 2026

We are thrilled to welcome back Jonathan Woolway, renowned chef and proud Welshman for a very special dinner this autumn

Known for his time at celebrated establishments such as St. John, Jonathan’s cooking champions simplicity, integrity and the joy of sharing food with others.
