Warmth, Craft & Comfort

Sian Tucker & James Lynch

From a coastal Welsh cottage, Sian Tucker runs Fforest General Stores with her partner James Lynch. The online boutique is only part of their enterprise, fforest. The couple also run a camp for events and holidaymakers, as well as a venue with Pizza Restaurant and Cafe on the quayside in Cardigan. But their retail arm allows them to connect with a much wider audience. With a colourful selection of Welsh blankets and an array of wooden-handled tools, their stock reflects Fforest’s practical, rural aesthetic.

On of fforest's best media outlets is their beautiful Instagram curated by Sian.

Information for Brewers:
Cardigan Quays Beerfest Saturday 27th June 2015 11am-Midnight.  A festival open to all age groups (families).  We want to make this an annual event.

Background information on Cardigan Quays:
A beautiful setting on the River Teifi, in the heart of Cardigan – our capacity is 600 people. It is the home of our Pizza Tipi where we serve 300 people per night over a weekend. We hold several music events throughout the year. We hold the Cardigan Quays Festival annually – last year we had 1000 people come to this festival throughout the day.

In August we’ll be staging the Caught By The Teifi music festival.

Ticket prices £5 (under 14s free).  Tickets will be sold as printed festival beerglasses. (Age will be verified on sale and glasses only sold to those 18+)

We have the support of the local CAMRA team.

On the day of the Beerfest we will have a beer servery with one long bar & all the kegs lined-up. There will be large chalkboards with the name of the brewery, beer & ABV. It would be great if the brewers themselves were on hand to engage with visitors & tell them the ‘story’ behind their beers.

We anticipate to sell between 1000-2000 pints. Based on a footfall of around 500 people throughout the day/evening).

We’d like the brewers to supply the beer on a sale or return basis (only full barrels would be returned). We ask that all kegs are provided as bright beer.
