There are some fantastic walks, beaches and attarctions to visit and make the most whilst you’re with us. Here’s a small selection of our favourites.
pembrokeshire coast path
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a spectacular 186 mile (299 km) long National Trail covering some of the most varied coastal scenery in Britain, stretching from St Dogmaels in the north to Amroth in the south. Our favourites are:
-Ceibwr to Pwll-Y-Wrach (Witches Cauldron)
-Cwm Yr Eglwys to Pwllgwaelod loop
-Newport Sands to Newport Parrog (accessible)
-Porthgain to Abereiddy

Pembrokeshire beaches
Protected by their National Park status Pembrokeshire’s beaches have some of the cleanest waters and sands with many awards to show for it; Blue Flags and Green Coast awards! That makes Pembrokeshire beaches some of the best in Wales.

Castell henllys
Evocative Iron Age settlement set in the rugged, magical landscape of North Pembrokeshire – known as “Gwlad Hud a Lledrith” (Land of Magic & Enchantment). A visit to Castell Henllys is like stepping back in time to our prehistoric past. You can see how people lived in the Iron Age, what their houses looked like, how they dressed and how they went about their daily life. Enter the roundhouses and step back into the past, soak up the atmosphere of a bygone era and imagine what life must have been like for our ancestors.

llanerchaeron
Part of the National Trust, Llanerchaeron is set in the beautiful Aeron Valley just outside of Aberaeron. It’s a beautiful place to visit for all ages with beautiful gardens, a small farm, woodland walks and an elegant Georgian villa, designed by architect John Nash in 1790

Oriel y parc - ST DAVIDS VISITOR CENTRE
Oriel y Parc includes a Visitor Centre, Artist in Residence Studio, a Discovery Room which hosts family friendly art and nature activities, a Tower which hosts local arts exhibitions and community run classes, and a café.
There is also a Class A Landscape Gallery, which often features the work of Graham Sutherland,
who bequeathed a body of his artwork to Pembrokeshire.

Ceredigion coast path
Ceredigion's 60 miles (96km) Coast Path is a very special part of the Wales Coast Path, with probably the most varied landscape and terrain of the 870 mile (1400km) route. As well as great views north towards Snowdonia and south towards Pembrokeshire, the Ceredigion Coast path has a wealth of wildlife, geological and archaeological features and a colourful history to discover along the way. Our favourites are:
-Penbryn to Llangrannog (with a stop at the ‘secret beach’, Traeth Bach, on the way.
-Aberporth to Tresaith (first part is accessible)
-Mwnt

Ceredigion beaches
Enjoy the best of Ceredigion's coast at Blue Flag, Seaside Award and Green Coast award winning beaches. You'll also find pretty, secluded coves, some of which can only be reached on foot or by boat.

BAY TO REMEMBER
The beautiful West Wales coast is famous for its marine life. Bay To Remember boat trips explore the amazing coastline and abundant wildlife found in Cardigan Bay. This is the perfect opportunity to see Bottlenose Dolphins and Harbour Porpoise, Grey Seals and a wide variety of birds, as well as watching our beautiful coastline from the perfect vantage point.

NATIONAL WOOL Museum
Located in the historic former Cambrian Mills, the National Wool Museum is a special place with a spellbinding story to tell. Re-opened in 2004 following major re-development, this flagship museum is a new and exciting place to visit with something for everyone to enjoy.Families can have fun following the specially designed trail, 'A Woolly Tale', and create their own guide to making and using woollen cloth, trying their hand at carding, spinning and sewing along the way.

folly farm
Folly Farm is a fun-packed day out for families with toddlers & young children. It's not just a farm either - it also has a zoo with penguins, lions, zebras & giraffes. For those wet days that we occasionally get in West Wales there is plenty to do indoors here too including the jolly barn & adventure playground.

CILGERRAN CASTLE
Just up the road from fforest far, Cilgerran Castle is perched overlooking the spectacular Teifi Gorge and has inspired many artists, including Turner.

PEMBROKE CASTLE
Pembroke Castle is a medieval castle in Pembroke, West Wales. Standing beside the River Cleddau, it underwent major restoration work in the early 20th century. Throughout the year they have regular visitor activities such as Living History Days.

dai crabs boat trip
Enjoy a scenic boat trip along the river Teifi from Cardigan Bridge jetty, and travel downstream to the mouth of the estuary in Gwbert. En-route there will be opportunities to take photographs of the beautiful scenic views. On return, you may want to enjoy a walk around the historical town of Cardigan, visit Cardigan Castle or enjoy a pizza in the renowned Pizza Tipi.
